Bryan Taing Joins MidPen Housing as SVP, Head of Property Management

Bryan joins MidPen with more than 17 years of experience in multifamily real estate operations and asset management.

FOSTER CITY, CA, August 27, 2025—MidPen Housing has hired Bryan Taing as Senior Vice President, Head of Property Management, to oversee its portfolio of more than 10,000 homes in 139 apartment communities. MidPen is one of the largest nonprofit developers, owners, and managers of high-quality affordable housing in Northern California.

At MidPen, Bryan is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to advance the organization’s operational, financial, and business performance goals. His team of 350—more than half of MidPen’s staff—manages all aspects of multifamily property management, including property operations, compliance, leasing, and facilities and risk management. He reports to COO Ann Goggins Gregory and is a member of MidPen’s executive Stewardship Team.

Bryan joins MidPen with more than 17 years of experience in multifamily real estate operations and asset management. Most recently, he led property management operations for Prime Residential’s portfolio of nearly 20,000 units spanning Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and California. Prior to Prime, Bryan served as Managing Director-West Territory Leader for Greystar Real Estate Partners during a critical period of organizational restructuring and rapid growth, overseeing a portfolio of 70 communities totaling 22,000+ units across urban and suburban markets in the western U.S. and Canada. In these roles, Bryan led significant organizational change efforts while enhancing operational excellence and fostering more cross-functional collaboration between property management and multiple corporate teams.

He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University East Bay and is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Licensed California Real Estate Broker.
