Bryan Taing

Senior Vice President, Head of Property Management
“MidPen’s mission resonates with me personally because my parents came to the U.S. as refugees escaping starvation and genocide in Cambodia. They received help from a similarly mission-driven organization that provided them housing, stability, and opportunity which have been conducive to my parents living long and harmonious lives. I hope my leadership here at MidPen, and my stewardship of our mission, contribute to what MidPen strives to provide to the residents we serve.”

Bryan joined MidPen in August 2025 as Senior Vice President, Head of Property Management. In this role, he oversees MidPen’s portfolio of more than 10,000 homes in 12 counties and is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to advance the organization’s operational, financial, and business performance goals. His team of 350–more than half of MidPen’s staff–manages all aspects of multifamily property management, including property operations, compliance, leasing, and facilities and risk management.

Bryan came to MidPen with more than 17 years of experience in multifamily real estate operations and asset management. Most recently, he led property management operations for Prime Residential’s portfolio of nearly 20,000 units spanning Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and California. Prior to Prime, Bryan served as Managing Director-West Territory Leader for Greystar Real Estate Partners during a critical period of organizational restructuring and rapid growth, overseeing a portfolio of 70 communities totaling 22,000+ units across urban and suburban markets in the western U.S. and Canada. In these roles, Bryan led significant organizational change efforts while enhancing operational excellence and fostering more cross-functional collaboration between property management and multiple corporate teams.

He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University East Bay and is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Licensed California Real Estate Broker.

In his time outside of work, Bryan enjoys coaching his son’s little league baseball teams, and attending music concerts and shows with his wife. When they head out on vacation with their three children, Hawaii is one of their favorite destinations.
