Mahonia Glen, Santa Rosa

A mother and farmworker reflects on her family's new home in Santa Rosa.

In her own words:

Living in this apartment provides us with stability, opportunities, and a healthy environment for our families As farmworkers, having a nice, safe, and peaceful place to live makes a huge difference in our quality of life.

I greatly value the after-school programs for the children – having a space where they can learn, be supported, and stay active gives us peace of mind and contributes so much to their academic and personal development. Another important benefit is access to English classes, which helps us grow, communicate better, and feel more confident.

And the surroundings are so nice. The park and common areas make it a beautiful, welcoming, and family-friendly place.

It’s not just a place to live; it’s a community where we feel like we belong.
