Melanie has been a vital part of MidPen for over a decade, starting as a Community Manager at both Woodland Newell and Bay Oaks in 2013. At Woodland Newell, she oversaw the complex process of guiding two separate entities through a resyndication and rehabilitation, ultimately uniting them into one community. Since then, she has steadily advanced through leadership roles, and in her most recent promotion to Director of Property Operations, she brings deep expertise, institutional knowledge, and a steady hand to supporting MidPen’s Regional Property Managers across San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz counties.
Throughout her career, Melanie has demonstrated dedication to MidPen’s ICARE values, advocating for residents, empowering her teams, and celebrating their successes. She finds the work most rewarding when she sees families and individuals thrive in homes that are safe, affordable, and beautiful.
Outside of work, Melanie cherishes time with her husband and two daughters and actively participates in her church community.
