Melanie joined MidPen in 2013 as a Community Manager overseeing the Woodlands Newell resyndication and rehab project and worked on getting Donner Lofts leased to 100% occupancy. She was then promoted to Property Manager overseeing the Bayshore and East Bay portfolios.
In her current role as Associate Director of Property Operations, Melanie provides daily operational support to the Regional Property Managers that oversee properties in the counties of San Mateo, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz. Together they work as a team to ensure the success of MidPen’s mission to “provide safe, affordable housing of high quality” to our residents.
Melanie is also a founding member of Collective Voices for Equity Council (CVEC) and is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the DEI work that has become woven into the culture of MidPen.
Melanie loves to spend quality time with her amazing husband and two beautiful daughters. She also loves to do arts and crafts projects and visit new parks with her family around the Bay Area. Most Sundays she can be found singing with her church’s worship team.
