Mick Vergura

Chief Financial Officer
“I am completely inspired by the mission that drives our work and have never felt more satisfied by what I spend my professional energy on. Seeing the lives we transform motivates me each and every day!”

Mick joined MidPen in February 2019 with over two decades of experience in finance, capital strategy and corporate management for both for-profit and non-profit companies. As Chief Financial Officer, Mick oversees MidPen’s finance, accounting, asset management and legal teams and has the overall responsibility to steward the organization’s $1.5 billion in real estate assets.

During his tenure as CFO and Senior Vice President of The Community Builders, Inc., a non-profit affordable housing developer in Boston, Mick developed a passion to bring affordable housing to all. He’s excited to continue his mission-driven work here at MidPen and be closer to family and sunny days on the West Coast. When not crunching numbers and performing audits, you’re likely to find Mick zooming down the roads on his bicycle or otherwise enjoying the great outdoors.
