Wendell Ferguson joined MidPen in January 2026 as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Technology and Analytics, a newly expanded leadership role that reflects the growing importance of technology and data in advancing our mission. Wendell is instrumental in shaping how we use technology, analytics, and insights to better serve our communities and support our teams.
Wendell has more than 25 years of experience leading enterprise technology, data, and analytics functions across industries including healthcare, insurance, finance, and consumer software. Most recently, he served as VP of IT and Chief Information Security Officer at BCS Financial, where he modernized data infrastructure and transformed IT operations to support scalable growth. Before that, he led Enterprise Data & Analytics Operations at Blue Shield of California, building a Center of Excellence that strengthened business engagement, governance, and data-driven decision-making.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Wendell is deeply committed to family, faith, mentoring, and giving back through non-profit board service. During basketball season, Wendell can often be found cheering at his son’s (many) games.
