MidPen Housing and Abode Services partnered to develop Laguna Commons, which will provide much needed supportive housing for individuals and families, including veterans and formerly homeless households, in Fremont’s Irvington District. Laguna Commons began construction in spring 2015 and will welcome residents in fall 2016. To best support residents with special needs, services will be well integrated into the fabric of the community at Laguna Commons. Supportive Services staff will be onsite to help all residents access a wide range of programs. In addition to the services provided specifically for formerly homeless residents and veterans, there will be health and wellness programs offered to all residents.
