Santa Familia consists of affordable garden apartments for families and seniors. The development was sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Jose, Holy Family Affordable Housing, Inc., and MidPen Housing Corp.
Arranged around a spacious courtyard, Santa Familia includes amenities such as extensively landscaped grounds, a playground, childcare center, laundry room, and a computer technology center.
Services include ESL classes, financial literacy courses, health and wellness programs, vocational training, computer training, food assistance, and connections to community resources.
The community center houses an on-site child care center. In 2003, Santa Familia was selected as a semi-finalist for the MetLife Foundation Awards for Excellence in Affordable Housing in the Property and Asset Management category.
