Vivente I is an affordable housing development providing permanent independent living opportunities and services for persons with physical disabilities. The site for Vivente I was provided by and adjacent to Valley Medical Center in San Jose as a way to house person who need fully accessible housing. Valley Medical Center and the Veteran’s Administration offer support to Vivente I residents. The community was co-sponsored by HIP Housing.
