Shirley Chisholm Village will provide 135 affordable homes for families and individuals in San Francisco and will prioritize San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) educators and employees, and applicable San Francisco Housing Preferences.



Applications for housing were accepted only from SFUSD Employees in April 2024. MidPen Leasing staff are contacting applicants from the first application period in lottery rank order. A second round of applications were accepted from SFUSD employees, who did not apply previously, and the general public until September 26, 2024. The lottery for the second round of applications will be held by the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD) in October 2024.
