It is located close to several neighborhood amenities including a shopping center with a grocery store, restaurants, and other services, as well as several parks and walking trails nearby, two public elementary schools within a half-mile, a public high school and regional library within one mile, and a new bus stop to operate in front of the community along Highway 12 with several service lines.

Mahonia Glen is accepting applications for affordable 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments starting at 9:00am on July 27, 2026 through 5:00pm on August 28, 2026. These apartment homes are for individuals and families including people who work in agriculture.

Work in agriculture means working in:

the cultivation and tillage of the soil
the production, cultivation, growing and harvesting of any agricultural or horticultural commodities
the raising of livestock, bees, furbearing animals, or poultry
dairying, forestry, and lumbering operations
any work performed on a farm, as well as tasks that support or are connected to farming operations
delivery and preparation of commodities for market or storage

Examples include any work in wineries, vineyards, dairy, or any other agricultural business.
